What’s it about?
The Rainbow Fish is about a beautiful fish who finds friendship and happiness when he learns to share.
In the book, the Rainbow Fish is vain because he has lots of shining scales, and the other fish do not. He is described as the most beautiful fish in the sea. A blue fish asks for one of his scales and Rainbow Fish refuses and this causes the other fish to leave him alone. Rainbow Fish doesn’t like being lonely and tries to make friends by sharing.
